11 Mar 2006 - Cub Fun Day 2006
Our Cubs joined in the District Cub Fun Day held in Lowson Street Methodist Church Hall on Saturday 11th March. These were 10 pin bowling, semaphore signalling, a treasure hunt, and turning each other into mummies using toilet rolls. The biggest base was a football obstacle course which filled the whole of the main hall, where each cub had to take themself and a football around, through, over and under a series of obstructions. The teams received points from each activity except the treasure hunt, and at the end the team with the most points received a prize. The winning team on the treasure hunt won the treasure they had located.
The Cubs worked in mixed groups with Cubs from other Packs making new friends, and moved around a series of 5 activity bases.
